ALISTAIR RUTHERFORD


Alistair has over 8 years’ scriptwriting experience and writes for film, theatre, radio, TV and interactive games.
He develops original ideas, adapts existing work and has proven ability across different genres, including science fiction, drama, thrillers and comedy.

Recent credits include writing additional material for Haunted Hogmanay (BBC1 & Ko Lik Films, BAFTA Scotland nominated 2007, British Animation Awards nominated 2008) and An Island Between Heaven and Earth (BBC Radio 4).

Alistair is currently under commission from the Leith Festival for a new stage play. He has an MA in Screenwriting (Screen Academy Scotland) and is a member of the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain and the Scottish Society of Playwrights.
